International Breweries Plc is seeking a qualified Corporate Affairs Manager to lead and execute communication and advocacy strategies that support business objectives, manage reputational risk, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of regulatory environments, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and corporate social responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Corporate Affairs strategic plan aligned with business priorities.
- Monitor and manage internal and external stakeholder expectations to anticipate reputation risks.
- Lead crisis and media communication strategies, ensuring consistency and control of messaging.
- Drive sustainable development and alcohol responsibility initiatives in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Build and manage relationships with government, regulatory agencies, the media, and local communities to protect the organisation’s license to operate.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a first degree in Social Sciences or Humanities.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in corporate affairs or public relations.
- Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) – mandatory.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proven experience in stakeholder engagement and regulatory affairs.
- In-depth understanding of local media, laws, and governance practices.
