Job Description

A reputable energy platform operating across Nigeria is seeking a skilled and driven Corporate Finance Manager to join its team in Lagos. This role will support the company’s growth through capital raising, project finance, and strategic financial planning, with a focus on gas-fired power, CNG distribution, and embedded generation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full cycle of capital raising for debt, equity, and project finance, including structuring, negotiation, and execution.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for valuation and performance tracking of power and gas-related assets.
• Support strategic planning efforts by screening acquisition targets and leading financial due diligence.
• Prepare investor communications including quarterly shareholder reports, data rooms, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Monitor macroeconomic indicators and sector regulations to guide financial strategy and market timing.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative fields; CFA, MBA, or MSc in Finance is an added advantage.
• 7–12 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Investment Banking, Infrastructure Private Equity, or a similar role within the Power/Energy sector.
• Proven record of closing transactions exceeding USD 50 million in debt or equity.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel, VBA, or Python. Familiarity with IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or CMA are preferred.
