Job Description
GemCommerce is hiring an experienced and technically-inclined Customer Success Associate to support its growing global customer base. This role is ideal for expats with a background in Shopify, UI/UX, or web development. The successful candidate will handle technical inquiries, provide live chat assistance, and help customers maximize the use of the company’s SaaS-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle technical inquiries via live chat, following protocols and escalating complex issues appropriately
- Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues, offering walkthroughs and demos using internal tools
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the internal knowledge base
- Identify customer goals and suggest upselling or cross-selling solutions where relevant
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficiency in English at C1 level (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)
- At least one year of experience with Shopify, HTML/CSS, UI/UX, or similar SaaS/e-commerce tools
- Candidates with product design, web design, or web development backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage high-pressure customer interactions
- Excellent interpersonal communication and technical troubleshooting capabilities

Salary: Up to ₦992,400.50 per month
Schedule: Full-time | Shifts: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM UTC+7)
