The role focuses on analysing, structuring, and delivering high-quality global ETF data and analytics used by institutional market participants across EMEA, AMER, and APAC regions. About the Role
The Data Analyst will be part of a highly skilled data analytics team within the data department. The role contributes directly to the global data roadmap, working with multiple datasets and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, depth, and usability across all solutions. Reporting to the Head of Data, this position offers high visibility and impact in a fast-evolving financial data environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, interpret, and develop ETF data and analytics content relevant to institutional buy-side and sell-side clients across global markets
  • Contribute to the delivery of ETF datasets including reference data, holdings, performance metrics, fund flows, and liquidity indicators
  • Process and structure large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring cleanliness, consistency, and scalability in collaboration with data engineers
  • Support automation and continuity of data pipelines using modern Big Data and AI/ML technologies
  • Collaborate closely with business, product, and technology teams to ensure strong data depth and analytical coverage across all solutions
  • Handle client-facing data and analytics requests efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain and continuously improve data quality, accuracy, and integrity across web applications and APIs

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the ETF or indexing industry within data, analytics, portfolio management, research, or risk functions
  • Master’s degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with experience in data visualisation techniques
  • Experience working with Databricks is an advantage
  • Practical exposure to data quality management, dataset validation, and onboarding new data sources, ideally within financial services
  • Experience supporting client-related data questions and analytical requests
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills
  • Genuine interest in financial markets and financial data
