Job Description

Dufil Prima Foods Limited is hiring a qualified Data Engineer to join its Data and Analytics team. This role focuses on building and managing scalable data pipelines, integrating data systems, and ensuring data accessibility to support data-driven decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Develop and manage data integration solutions to streamline data flow.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, integrity, and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide support for analytics initiatives.
  • Continuously improve data engineering processes, tools, and system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (First Class) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • A Master’s degree or certification in data engineering, data science, or big data technologies is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
  • Proven experience in developing data pipelines and ETL solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
