A Data Engineering Specialist is needed to support an intern-focused coaching program designed to train and mentor the next generation of data professionals. This role is ideal for experienced data engineers who are passionate about sharing knowledge, guiding projects, and helping aspiring professionals gain real-world expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor interns in data engineering fundamentals, providing technical guidance and practical insights.
- Supervise and review project work, ensuring quality and best practices are applied.
- Design structured exercises, case studies, and solution walkthroughs for hands-on learning.
- Deliver training on ETL pipelines, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data tools.
- Support interactive sessions such as Q&A, community discussions, and recorded training resources.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong expertise in ETL processes, transformation pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of big data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Previous mentoring, coaching, or training experience is an advantage.
