Job Description

A reputable oral surgery practice, Wisdom Teeth Guys, is hiring skilled Dental Billing Specialists to join its remote team. This position offers a great opportunity for dental billing professionals who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in managing insurance claims. Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit accurate dental insurance claims within 24 hours after audits.
  • Follow up on aged claims every 14 days to ensure prompt payments.
  • Maintain insurance aging over 90 days at zero by efficiently managing claims.
  • Communicate with the surgical, verification, and patient coordination teams regarding insurance updates.
  • Ensure full collection of outstanding balances and verify claim accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental billing, including knowledge of dental and insurance terminology.
  • Strong understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and payment assessments.
  • Must reside in AZ, FL, ID, NV, TN, TX, or UT.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
  • Must have a dedicated workspace with a monitor and high-speed internet connection.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous insurance-related experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
Pay: $15 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
