Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist will take ownership of digital marketing execution for multiple client brands. Responsibilities include developing and implementing digital strategies, managing content and paid campaigns, designing visual assets, tracking performance, and optimizing results across channels such as social media, websites, email marketing, and paid advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize digital marketing strategies for multiple client brands
  • Manage and grow client digital presence across social media, websites, email marketing, and paid advertising
  • Create compelling brand stories and persuasive copy for ads, social media, websites, landing pages, and emails
  • Design high-quality visual content aligned with brand guidelines and platform requirements
  • Plan and manage content calendars across different industries and brand voices
  • Launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns to drive leads and revenue
  • Track performance metrics and provide clear, actionable insights and reports
  • Communicate campaign progress, results, and growth opportunities with internal teams and stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 3–8 years of relevant digital marketing experience
  • Proven experience in storytelling, content creation, and graphic design
  • Strong ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously
  • Experience in agency, consultancy, or client-facing roles is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing funnels, conversion optimization, and growth metrics
  • Hands-on experience with paid advertising platforms and performance tracking
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and optimization skills
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management and accountability

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms
  • Background in growth-focused or performance-based marketing roles
  • Willingness to learn and use Gabete’s internal tools (training provided)

Salary & Compensation

  • Fixed salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 per month
  • Performance-based commissions (uncapped, tied to leads, sales, and campaign results)
  • Monthly and quarterly incentives for exceeding targets
  • Growth-based salary and commission reviews
  • Estimated earnings: Base salary plus commissions (top performers earn significantly more)
