Introduction
Optimus Bank Limited is currently hiring for the position of E-Business Settlement Officer. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in financial settlements and electronic banking operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing card transactions, resolving disputes, and ensuring accurate reconciliation across multiple e-channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle settlement of card transactions (Verve, Mastercard, Visa, etc.) and ATM operations.
  • Monitor and reconcile daily e-business ledgers and offshore card settlement accounts.
  • Resolve disputes related to card payments, bill payments, USSD failures, and dispense errors across multiple channels (ATM, POS, Web, etc.).
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to regulatory bodies such as the CBN and NDIC.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong understanding of Interswitch products and e-business operations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles, with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage relationships with stakeholders.
