Job Description
A UK-based, fast-scaling furniture brand is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to take charge of its Shopify store and drive measurable growth. This freelance/contract role is ideal for a professional with a strong grasp of scaling D2C ecommerce businesses, blending technical expertise with commercial insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product merchandising, including uploads, categorisation, promotions, and pricing aligned with brand identity.
- Optimise website performance across site speed, navigation, product pages, checkout flow, and onsite content to maximise conversion and average order value.
- Support performance marketing by integrating campaigns (SEO, paid media, email, social) into Shopify with proper tracking and reporting.
- Monitor KPIs using Shopify Analytics, GA4, and related tools to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to deliver continuous UX/UI improvements.
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing Shopify-based ecommerce operations.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify apps, integrations, and theme customisation.
- Confident using analytics platforms such as Shopify Analytics and GA4.
- Experience in home furniture or kids’ product categories preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and their role in driving ecommerce success.
- Highly detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable testing and iterating quickly.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities.
