Colar Solar is seeking an experienced Engineer to join it’s team in Lagos. This role requires a technically skilled professional with strong supervisory experience in industrial equipment operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-driven, and ready to contribute to it’s renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the maintenance and operation of industrial equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, steam, water, and hydraulic systems.
- Interpret technical documents such as blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues.
- Ensure safety compliance while using basic hand tools and operating plant machinery.
- Coordinate teams to meet project deadlines, solve technical problems, and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- OND, HND, or BSc in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in supervisory roles in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industrial systems and components including electrical wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, and energy utilization principles.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and solve complex problems.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and technology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain proper licensing required to operate specific plant machinery.
