Job Description
RusselSmith Group is hiring an experienced Engineer in Advanced Manufacturing to lead the development and optimization of additive manufacturing projects. The role is based in Lagos and requires a strong background in mechanical or materials engineering, hands-on experience with 3D modelling, and the ability to implement high-quality, innovative manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead additive manufacturing projects from concept through execution, ensuring efficiency and documentation
- Research and implement new additive manufacturing technologies and materials
- Develop, test, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced manufacturing into product development
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Master’s/PhD preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in additive manufacturing, reverse engineering, or 3D modelling
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360)
- Strong understanding of additive manufacturing equipment, quality control methods, and industry standards
