Job Description

ABNL Limited is seeking a qualified Facilities Engineer / Specialist I for a contract role based in Ikoyi, Lagos. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing engineering work and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. This position supports technical coordination and promotes capital-efficient design within the engineering discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate engineering work done by internal teams and contractors to ensure compliance with company specifications, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate communication and resolve technical issues between engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain oversight of design documentation, deviation logs, and discipline-specific technical queries.
• Participate in design reviews at contractor and subcontractor locations and keep engineering leadership informed of progress and concerns.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of discipline design standards, safety criteria, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
