A reputable agricultural firm in Ogun State is seeking a skilled Farm Officer/Animal Scientist to oversee livestock management and farm operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in animal science, farm supervision, and modern agricultural practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily farm operations, including livestock care and feed management.
- Monitor animal health, implement biosecurity measures, and coordinate veterinary care.
- Supervise farmworkers and ensure adherence to best agricultural practices.
- Maintain farm records, track productivity, and recommend improvements for efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in farm management or animal husbandry.
- Strong knowledge of livestock nutrition, breeding, and health management.
- Ability to supervise farm operations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
