Job Introduction

A reputable medical facility in Victoria Island, Lagos is currently hiring a Fertility Doctor with a specialization in gynecology and reproductive medicine. This role involves offering clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating fertility-related conditions, supporting patients through individualized treatment plans, and guiding them through assisted reproductive technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage reproductive health and fertility issues in women.
  • Conduct physical examinations, review medical histories, and analyze diagnostic results.
  • Design and oversee tailored treatment plans including ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF.
  • Perform advanced fertility procedures such as egg retrievals and embryo transfers.
  • Monitor treatment progress and make adjustments as required.
  • Provide fertility counseling and advice on reproductive health and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements

  • MBBS degree with a specialization in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in gynecology, including at least 2 years in fertility medicine.
  • Proficiency in fertility-related procedures and ultrasound diagnostics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with patients undergoing emotional and physical stress.
