Job Description
LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited is recruiting for the position of Field Auditor. This role involves reviewing branch-level financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with internal control policies and safeguard assets. The successful candidate will support audit objectives by identifying risks, ensuring procedural adherence, and providing actionable reports for management attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review cash positions and general ledgers at assigned branches.
- Examine bank reconciliation statements and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
- Conduct compliance and substantive testing of credit documents and related financial transactions.
- Investigate fraud-related incidents and other critical concerns promptly.
- Prepare and submit audit reports and ensure follow-up on recommendations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of ND, NCE, BSc or HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- 1–3 years of experience in auditing; relevant experience is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to branches for audit assignments.
