Finance Analyst Needed
Job Description
A reputable investment and finance organization is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to support its Corporate Finance unit. This role involves evaluating investment opportunities, building financial models, conducting due diligence, and offering strategic insights across private equity and project finance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong financial analysis capabilities and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the assessment of investment opportunities through financial, commercial, and operational reviews
- Conduct market research and benchmark analysis to inform investment decisions
- Build and maintain detailed Excel-based financial models for valuation and forecasting
- Assist in preparing investment memos, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio company performance and contribute recommendations for improvement
- Ensure financial analyses align with internal policies and regulatory frameworks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, private equity, or investment banking
- Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and Excel-based analysis
- Certification in CFA (Level I minimum) or ACCA (in progress or completed) is an added advantage
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
