Job Overview:
Herbal Goodness, a wellness-focused company, is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Bookkeeping Associate to support its financial operations remotely. This role involves managing daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting audit and payroll processes. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and aligning with U.S. Central Standard Time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including daily bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payments.
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero for financial management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Experience with payroll processing and financial reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and audit preparation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.
- Reliable internet connection, functional laptop, and flexibility to work between 4 pm – 12 am WAT (9 am – 5 pm CST).
