Job Description

A leading organization in the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership, ensure accurate reporting, and support business growth. The role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to cost control, and the ability to influence decision-making across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage risk and opportunity portfolios identified during business planning.
  • Produce monthly financial and business reports with variance analysis against plan.
  • Support new product development with financial justification and post-evaluation of promotions.
  • Provide financial decision support across departments, ensuring effective cost control and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor overheads and media spend, ensuring variances are understood and addressed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional membership (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, ICAEW), preferably fully qualified.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ finance experience in FMCG, with 10–12 years in relevant operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management and drive business performance.
