Sinomart Nigeria Limited, a reputable retail brand, is seeking a skilled Finance Cashier to join its finance team in Victoria Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate financial record-keeping, daily cash management, and ensuring compliance with financial control standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash collections, deposits, and reconciliations in line with financial control procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all cash, POS, and electronic transactions.
- Prepare timely daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Collaborate with finance and store management teams for inventory and sales reconciliation.
- Ensure all financial records are properly documented, filed, and secured.
- Provide customer-facing payment support while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Cashier or Finance Cashier in a retail or supermarket setting.
- Strong numerical ability with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using POS or accounting systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of integrity.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain reliability in handling finances.
