Introduction:
Nestoil Plc is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations. This position requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in finance, accounting, and management. The ideal candidate will contribute to the company’s financial strategy and ensure the efficient management of financial resources.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support organizational goals.
- Implement and monitor financial controls to ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
Requirements:
- A First Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- A post-graduate degree is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA).
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, cost control, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proven ability to manage financial teams and projects.
