Job Description
Fairmoney Microfinance Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead its financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the banking or financial services industry, with proven leadership capabilities and technical expertise in IFRS, data analysis, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Review monthly management reports, ensure accurate financial schedules, and approve finalized statements.
- Provide training, motivation, and guidance to accounting teams while resolving finance-related queries promptly.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying drivers for changes in financial performance and recommending corrective measures.
- Oversee preparation and timely submission of CBN, NDIC, and other regulatory reports.
- Lead and coordinate the annual statutory audit process, ensuring smooth year-end close.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ICAN) is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data analytics tools is an advantage.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, preferably in audit or financial services.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
