About the Role:
A growing company in the event management sector is seeking a skilled Finance Officer to support financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to efficient accounting processes. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a background in finance or accounting looking to develop their career in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and expense reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely reconciliations.
- Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
- Support financial planning and analysis activities as required.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting position.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- ICAN certification or ongoing ICAN studies is an added advantage.
- Experience in the event or hospitality industry is a plus.
