Job Description
Jami Al Hakeem Foundation is seeking a skilled Finance Officer to support its operations in Adamawa. The role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management to ensure transparency and accountability. This position is ideal for a finance professional with experience in the developmental or humanitarian sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and forecasts to maintain financial stability.
- Supervise month-end financial processes and compile accurate reports.
- Draft budgets, balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns as required by regulatory authorities.
- Evaluate organizational financial performance and provide insights on return on investment.
- Manage risks associated with financial activities and ensure compliance with policies.
- Provide training to staff on financial procedures and systems.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting and registration with a recognized professional body (e.g., ICAN).
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the developmental or humanitarian sector.
- Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow instructions, and work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and willingness to participate in training and meetings.
Location: Jimeta, Adamawa
Employment Type: Contract (6 months, onsite)
Salary: N799,994.79 per month (including statutory deductions)
