A leading organization in the oil and gas sector is seeking an experienced Finance Supervisor to lead financial operations and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and effective cash flow management within a dynamic and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial strategies align with business goals.
- Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring the financial stability of operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
- Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and reporting.
Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is mandatory.
- A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience & Competencies:
- A minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in financial management, ideally within the oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure industries.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and leadership abilities.
