About the Role:

Golden Oil Industries Limited, a leading player in the manufacturing and trading sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join it’s team. The ideal candidate will manage the organization’s financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide strategic financial guidance. This role requires strong leadership, expertise in SAP/ERP systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and statements for management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, policies, and procedures, and support audit activities.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Utilize SAP/ERP accounting systems for financial reporting and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Requirements:

  • MSc/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of proven experience in trading, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
  • ICAN certification preferred; ACCA certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems is essential.
  • Flexibility to relocate within Nigeria or West Africa based on business needs.
