Overview
Dangote Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to manage and oversee the financial operations of MHF. The role is responsible for leading strategic financial planning, risk management, budgeting, compliance, and daily finance operations to support organizational growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and variance analysis.
• Manage statutory reporting and compliance, including VAT, tax filings, and audit processes.
• Provide financial guidance for long-term strategic planning and capital improvement projects.
• Supervise daily operations within the finance department, ensuring alignment with financial policies and procedures.
• Maintain relationships with financial institutions and ensure robust cash, asset, and forex management systems are in place.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or ICAN are required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior financial management, with at least 5 years post-qualification.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP and SAGE, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, compliance requirements, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
