Job Description

Location: Mainland, Lagos
Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000

A logistics company in Lagos is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the efficient operation of its vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet supervision, maintenance scheduling, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the company’s vehicle fleet.
  • Schedule regular maintenance and necessary repairs to reduce downtime.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, routes, and driver performance for efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with transportation laws and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with garages, vendors, and internal teams to streamline operations.
  • Implement budget controls and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, logistics, and route planning.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage budgets effectively.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software is an added advantage.
