We’re on a mission to revolutionize the way skills are learned, and we’re looking for a passionate Frontend Engineering Instructor to guide the next generation of software engineers. This is a paid, remote position—ideal for someone who wants to make an impact while balancing other commitments. What You Will Be Doing

  • Teach AltSchool Africa’s Frontend Engineering track with a focus on React.js and Vue.js.
  • Lead and facilitate course content, including in-class exercises, project coordination, and lecture discussions.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Support the learning process by facilitating online discussions, answering student queries, and providing feedback on assignments.
  • Stay current with industry trends and share relevant updates with students to enhance their learning.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of React.js and/or Vue.js.
  • Previous teaching, mentoring, or tutoring experience (bootcamps, training schools, or online platforms).
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online teaching tools.
  • Passion for software development and helping students succeed in their careers.
