Job Description

A reputable organization in the financial services sector is seeking an experienced General Manager to provide strong operational leadership and oversee daily business activities. The role requires a strategic thinker with a disciplined approach to execution, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will translate high-level strategy into structured, compliant, and scalable operational systems while ensuring adherence to governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations including onboarding, contribution facilitation, agent coordination, and service delivery.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear operational plans, performance targets, and measurable outcomes.
  • Supervise state coordinators and field agents, ensuring effective training, monitoring, and compliance with engagement protocols.
  • Implement and maintain strong operational risk controls, particularly in field operations and third-party interactions.
  • Ensure strict segregation of pension contribution flows from company operating accounts in line with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Compliance teams to support expansion and new initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs, service quality metrics, and contributor experience indicators, providing regular performance reports to Executive Management and the Board.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and service delivery standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in operations management, programme delivery, or general management roles, preferably within financial services or other regulated sectors.
  • Proven experience managing large, distributed teams and multi-location operations.
  • Strong understanding of compliance-driven environments, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with structure, accountability, and operational discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
