Job Description

PCP Construction Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead its construction equipment and machinery leasing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and ensure excellent service delivery while maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the construction equipment and machinery leasing business, ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.
• Manage equipment availability, leasing activities, inventory control, logistics, and maintenance schedules.
• Develop and implement business strategies aimed at increasing revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and supervise sales, operations, and technical teams to achieve organizational goals and performance targets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
• Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance, control operational costs, and ensure revenue targets are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry operational standards.
• Analyze market trends, evaluate business performance, and provide strategic recommendations to management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction, equipment leasing, or heavy machinery industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management position.
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment operations, machinery leasing processes, and fleet management.
• Proven experience in business growth, operational management, and team leadership.
• Excellent financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in fleet management software, ERP systems, and digital leasing platforms.
• Ability to solve operational challenges and implement practical business solutions.
