We are a leading player in Nigeria’s power/energy industry, dedicated to driving sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee our Solar Energy Division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, business development, and stakeholder engagement within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to grow the Solar Energy Division, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision.
2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and projects to expand the division’s footprint.
3. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve operational excellence and project goals.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and foster positive relationships.
5. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.

Qualification and Experience:

• 10+ years of leadership experience in the power/energy industry, with a strong focus on business development.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA is an added advantage.
• Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments while meeting deadlines.
• Extensive experience in regulatory engagement and budget management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
