Job Description
A reputable organization in Abuja is seeking an experienced Growth and Distribution Lead to drive business expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies that increase market reach, improve customer engagement, and optimize distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking skills, and experience managing growth initiatives in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth and distribution strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and expansion channels
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth
- Build quarterly and annual growth roadmaps to guide business expansion efforts
- Optimize customer acquisition cost while maximizing customer lifetime value
- Manage marketing and growth budgets efficiently while tracking return on investment across channels
- Develop both offline and online distribution networks to improve product reach
- Build and manage strategic partnerships and oversee partner performance
- Monitor acquisition funnels and growth metrics using dashboards and analytics tools
- Analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improved growth and engagement
- Develop customer retention strategies including email marketing, CRM campaigns, and automation
- Implement upsell and cross-sell strategies to increase repeat purchases and reduce churn
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to align growth initiatives and support product launches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years experience in growth, performance marketing, distribution, or commercial strategy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proven experience scaling customer acquisition channels and growth initiatives
- Experience managing digital marketing budgets and measuring campaign performance
- Strong negotiation skills and experience building strategic partnerships
- Proficiency in analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads, CRM platforms, and Excel
- Experience working in startups, technology, media, fintech, retail, or other fast-paced industries is an added advantage
