Job Description
A leading player in the LPG and cylinder value chain is seeking a Head, Corporate Strategy & Business Performance Management to drive long-term growth, strategic direction, and enterprise-wide performance. This role is responsible for translating corporate vision into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across business units, and delivering measurable results across financial, operational, safety, and customer metrics. The position also serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on expansion, efficiency, and value creation initiatives.

Salary: N900,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of 3–5-year corporate strategy and annual business plans
- Conduct in-depth market intelligence on the LPG/cylinder ecosystem, including competitors, regulatory updates, and expansion opportunities
- Design and manage enterprise performance frameworks, including KPIs, dashboards, and periodic performance reviews
- Drive strategic initiatives such as ERP implementation, plant expansion, and automation projects as a project sponsor
- Develop business cases for capital investments and support business units in improving operational efficiency metrics such as OEE and cash cycles
- Coordinate governance processes, including strategy sessions with executive management, board engagement, and stakeholder reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum Second Class Upper) in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or Finance
- MBA or relevant Master’s Degree from a reputable institution
- At least one professional certification in Strategy (SMP, CSP, BSC), Finance (CFA, ACCA, ICAN), or Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma)
- Oil & Gas certifications (Institute of Petroleum/NIPET) are an added advantage
- 12–15 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 5 years in a senior strategy or commercial leadership role
- Strong background in Oil & Gas downstream, LPG, FMCG distribution, or logistics-driven industries
- Advanced skills in strategic planning, financial modelling, KPI development, and data analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI/Tableau
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
