Job Description
Coronation Insurance Plc is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to fill the position of Head, Investment. This role is critical to supporting the company’s financial objectives through sound investment advisory, effective stakeholder management, and strong oversight of treasury functions. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of financial services experience, particularly in strategy, treasury, and capital management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advisory to the Board and Executive Management on investment planning, liquidity management, and operational strategies.
- Develop and manage tools and policies for foreign currency and market risk management to reduce exposure to volatility.
- Oversee working capital strategies, monitor cash flows, and engage internal teams to forecast and manage capital needs.
- Maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure favorable investment terms and manage corporate liquidity.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; MBA is an added advantage.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry; insurance sector experience is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, ICAN, or CGMA are required.
- Strong knowledge in macroeconomic analysis, treasury management, and strategy execution.
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and relationship management skills.
