Job Description
An established logistics company based in Surulere, Lagos is looking to hire a qualified Head, Logistics Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage a sales team, and oversee client acquisition strategies. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with solid experience in logistics or transportation sales and a strong understanding of the Lagos market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Lead and supervise the logistics sales team, ensuring achievement of targets
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and adjust sales tactics accordingly
- Oversee the negotiation and closing of business deals
- Deliver detailed performance reports and insights to senior management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in logistics or transportation sales
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with Lagos, particularly the Surulere axis, is essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is preferred
- Experience in B2B logistics or fleet service sales is an added advantage
