Job Summary
A visionary Head of Artificial Intelligence is required to lead advanced AI research and applied projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep academic expertise, a strong commercial orientation, and proven experience in building and managing world-class AI teams. The position involves steering innovation initiatives, developing cross-disciplinary AI strategies, and fostering collaboration across emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Exponential Science’s AI research and innovation roadmap.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a multidisciplinary AI team focused on excellence and innovation.
  • Oversee AI-driven projects involving deep learning, generative AI, reinforcement learning, and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with blockchain and quantum computing experts to create hybrid AI applications.
  • Represent the foundation at top-tier AI conferences and engage with investors, partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated publication record in top-tier AI journals or conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or AAAI.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in AI research and commercial application development.
  • Proven leadership in managing and scaling high-performing research or engineering teams.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
