Job Description
Moniepoint Incorporated, a leading global business payments and banking platform, is seeking a Head of Audit (TeamApt). This leadership role focuses on ensuring operational integrity, strengthening internal controls, and driving compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee audit execution, prepare reports, and present findings to executives and the Board Audit Committee.
- Assess organizational risks, monitor internal controls, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate with external auditors.
- Mentor and lead the internal audit team, fostering accountability and continuous growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA (required); CIA preferred.
- 5–8+ years’ experience in internal audit, risk, or compliance, with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian financial ecosystem, CBN regulations, and financial services sector.
- Experience in digital payments, banking, or fintech is essential.
