Job Description
The Head of B2C Sales role at the British Council is a senior strategic position focused on driving transformation, sales growth, and revenue performance across Business-to-Consumer (B2C) activities within the English and Exams portfolio. The role leads the development and delivery of a sales transformation roadmap aimed at improving customer conversion, onboarding, and lead-to-cash performance through efficient, customer-centric, and scalable solutions across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver the B2C sales development and transformation roadmap to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Customer Management, Marketing, Salesforce and SMS specialists, and transformation teams to improve lead-to-cash conversion and customer onboarding.
- Analyse existing sales processes, systems, and data to design future-state (“To Be”) sales solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Embed quick-win initiatives to support in-year revenue improvement and continuous sales performance optimisation.
- Lead sales improvement initiatives using process analysis, user testing, benefits mapping, and performance metrics.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regions and functions, acting as a bridge between operational teams and leadership.
- Support cultural change by embedding new sales processes into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience delivering sales transformation and change programmes within contact centre or customer management environments.
- Proven track record in driving sales, revenue growth, and conversion improvement initiatives at scale.
- Hands-on operational leadership experience in sales or customer management teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design and lead sales solutions across large organisations and multiple locations.
- COPC familiarity or certification is an added advantage.
