Head of Operation at Kumbotso Microfinance Bank Limited

Kumbotso Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to fill the position of Head of Operation. The role requires a results-driven leader with strong banking experience to oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency within the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the bank’s daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and internal control systems
• Supervise departmental managers and ensure performance targets are achieved
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and banking standards
• Monitor risk management processes and maintain operational integrity
• Prepare operational reports and provide strategic recommendations to executive management

Requirements

• BSc or its equivalent in Banking & Finance, Accounting, or any other Management Science discipline
• Professional Certificate in Microfinance Banking (CIBN) is an added advantage
• Minimum of five (5) years’ banking experience in a related industry
• At least three (3) years must be in a managerial position
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and team management abilities
