Job Description

A leading organization in the construction and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Head Of Project to oversee the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale projects. The role requires a highly organized professional with strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N800,000 per month

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of construction and infrastructure projects across multiple locations
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery
• Supervise contractors, consultants, project teams, and site personnel to maintain operational efficiency
• Monitor project progress and provide detailed reports and updates to senior management
• Ensure all projects comply with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Review technical designs, project specifications, and construction documentation
• Manage vendor and contractor performance to ensure quality service delivery and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience within construction, engineering, real estate, or infrastructure sectors
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role
• COREN certification is mandatory
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and site operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving ability with high attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred Qualification

• PMP, PRINCE2, or related project management certifications will be an added advantage
