Job Introduction
An established oil and gas company is seeking an experienced Head of Retail & Sales to oversee and drive operations across its fuel station network. This leadership role is responsible for sales growth, operational excellence, compliance, and team development within the downstream retail sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to expand retail operations and increase market share.
- Drive sales performance across fuel, lubricant, and non-fuel products, ensuring revenue targets are met.
- Oversee daily retail outlet operations, enforce SOPs, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Lead and mentor the retail team to achieve performance goals and uphold service excellence.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the downstream oil and gas sector, with at least 5 years in a senior retail leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple fuel retail outlets and achieving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, compliance practices, and customer engagement strategies.
