A reputable luxury goods company is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Sales to lead and scale its sales operations in Lagos. This role is suited for a strategic leader with deep expertise in luxury retail, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining world-class customer experience standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets
  • Lead, mentor, and manage sales managers and executives to ensure high performance and accountability
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Drive business development initiatives, including acquisition of new clients, corporate accounts, and high-value partnerships
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, evaluate team performance, and implement coaching and improvement plans
  • Oversee key account management, including dormant, corporate, and government accounts
  • Ensure exceptional luxury service standards and client experiences across all boutiques
  • Forecast, plan, and manage sales budgets to meet financial objectives
  • Provide regular performance and strategic reports to senior leadership

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in luxury retail or fashion, with at least 7 years in senior sales leadership
  • Proven track record of leading multi-unit sales teams and achieving significant revenue growth
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities
  • Excellent strategic planning, business development, and decision-making skills
  • In-depth market knowledge, competitor analysis expertise, and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven, and highly visible leadership role
  • Demonstrated passion for luxury products and delivering premium customer experiences
