Angala Fintech, under ARILA GROUP, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead its commercial efforts in Nigeria. This role involves driving growth, expanding market presence, and managing relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and merchants. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a high-impact sales strategy to meet ambitious revenue goals
- Lead and scale a high-performing sales team targeting merchants, partners, and enterprise clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations) to enhance market fit
- Manage end-to-end sales processes, including major account negotiations and deal closure
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic sales decisions
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in sales within the fintech, digital payments, or financial services sectors
- Strong network across banks, fintechs, agents, and merchants in Nigeria
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and close large-scale deals
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and team management skills
- In-depth understanding of financial technology, including payments and lending solutions
