Job Description

Junaid Energy Limited is seeking a highly experienced Head of Technical Services to lead and oversee the operations and maintenance of its power generation assets. This senior executive role ensures optimal plant performance, compliance with regulatory standards, and the application of industry best practices to drive operational excellence and long-term asset sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations and maintenance teams across multiple power generation facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure plant reliability.
• Monitor asset performance, enforce safety and environmental compliance, and oversee technical procurement.
• Coordinate technical audits, inspections, and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic insights for operational planning, capital investments, and expansion projects.
• Manage the O&M budget, optimize costs, and drive energy efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in power plant operations and maintenance, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
• COREN registration is required; certifications in HSE, PMP, or ISO standards are advantageous.
• Strong competencies in leadership, technical planning, stakeholder management, budget oversight, and team development.
