Head of Treasury – Renmoney

Job Description

Renmoney is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Treasury to lead its treasury operations and manage the organisation’s liquidity position. This role requires a results-driven professional with a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make strategic balance sheet decisions while ensuring minimal risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Treasury team to manage liquidity, funding, and profitability while mitigating risks.
• Monitor and assess interest rate risk, regulatory ratios, and balance sheet triggers.
• Diversify funding sources and lead wholesale funding transactions.
• Manage banking relationships, Bureau de Change dealings, and initiate bank placements.
• Prepare and present ALCO reports, conduct market intelligence, and track cost of funds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in Treasury or Finance roles within commercial banking.
• Professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or ongoing membership is an advantage.
• Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian economy and financial markets.
• Proven ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
