Location: Igwuruta, Port Harcourt
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Hostel Parent to oversee the welfare and daily routines of our boarding students. The ideal candidate will act as a positive role model, ensuring discipline, hygiene, and emotional well-being within the hostel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of behavior and enforce compliance with the school’s rules and regulations.
- Provide pastoral care to students, acting as a mentor and support system.
- Supervise students’ personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and proper attire.
- Oversee daily activities such as morning and night devotions, prep sessions, and mealtimes.
- Monitor students’ health, ensuring timely medical attention when necessary.
- Be actively present during key times like wake-up, bedtimes, and meals to provide guidance.
Requirements and Skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and negotiation abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining proper hygiene and discipline standards.
- Ability to foster a nurturing and structured environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of OND or HND certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
