Job Description

Location: Port Harcourt

An experienced Hotel General Manager is needed to oversee the daily operations, strategic planning, and overall success of a well-established hotel in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, a deep understanding of the Nigerian hospitality market, and the leadership skills to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost controls to optimize profitability.
  • Lead and train staff to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and the hospitality market, especially in Rivers State.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of local languages is an advantage).
  • Proven ability to drive operational success and team leadership.
