Job Description
A company in the agro-commodity sector is seeking a hands-on HR & Admin Manager to handle recruitment, employee management, and core HR processes while supporting day-to-day administrative and operational activities. This role is execution-focused and requires active involvement in hiring, workforce coordination, and resolving employee-related issues, especially within warehouse and field environments.
Location: Lagos
Salary: N650,000 – N900,000 monthly

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and junior to mid-level roles
- Source candidates through local networks, agencies, and referrals
- Oversee onboarding, attendance tracking, and employee records
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and HR policies
- Monitor workforce productivity, especially drivers and warehouse staff
- Support shift planning, duty allocation, and workforce structure
- Coordinate basic warehouse and office administration
- Supervise driver activities and ensure vehicle documentation is updated
- Assist with expat accommodation and facility arrangements
- Liaise with vendors and support cost control initiatives
Requirements
- 7 – 10 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or people operations
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or field-based environments is an advantage
- Strong recruitment and employee management skills
- Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR practices
- Ability to handle blue-collar workforce effectively
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and negotiation skills
- High level of accountability with a hands-on approach
