Job Description

Transsion Holdings is recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver strategic HR leadership and operational support across its business units in Lagos and Port Harcourt. This role focuses on strengthening organizational effectiveness, enhancing workforce capability, and ensuring employee engagement in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for assigned business units, providing both strategic guidance and day-to-day HR support.
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Lead HR initiatives including performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement, learning and development, and retention strategies.
  • Provide expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters in line with company policy and labor law.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure effective and timely hiring.
  • Analyze HR data (attrition, productivity, engagement) and present insights to management.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Promote company culture, values, and change management initiatives across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ progressive HR experience, preferably as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and recruitment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/ATS platforms and Microsoft Office tools (e.g., BambooHR, SAP, Oracle, Taleo).
  • Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) will be an added advantage.
